Winter Activities

Staying in Keystone in the winter means you are just minutes via walking, free bus or car to the ski lifts at the two base areas of River Run and Mountain House from anywhere in the resort. You can even ski all day AND evening, since Keystone has the largest night skiing operation in Colorado.  You’ll also be the closest you can stay to Arapahoe Basin, which has the longest season and has been continually expanding their lifts and terrain to offer even more acres of skiing.  Keystone also offers tubing, ice skating, snow forts, sleigh rides, Nordic skiing and unique experiences like the annual Chocolate Village, Kidtopia and riding a gondola to dinner at the mountain top Der Fondue Chessel.

Summer Activities

Summer in Keystone is some people’s favorite time to be there.  It’s a peaceful mountain environment where you can easily hike, bike, fish, golf or just watch the moose right out your door.   Keystone is home to two spectacular 18-hole golf courses with picturesque views. There is a long list of great summer events such as the Bacon Festival, Wine and Jazz, Bluegrass and Beer, Kidtopia, concerts at Warren Station and art festivals.  Arapahoe Basin is just up the road and they have also been expanding their summer lineup with more events and concerts.
